Where do I get tested?

Inhabitants from Lillehammer, Øyer, Gausdal and northern Ringsaker get tested outside the hospital in Lillehammer. You need to walk the last bit, it is not possible to drive. In the event where you can not get out of your home to get tested, home testing may in some cases  be provided. It is therefore important you provide this information when you are referred for testing.

Corona testing is not provided on a drop-in basis. Call the corona hotline 909 41 700 for test referral. You will receive an textmessage with the time of your testing appointment.

If you have been tested for coronavirus you should stay at home until you receive a negative test result and you have become symptom free.

Are you waiting for test results?

You will get your testresults 1-4 days after getting tested, regardless if it is positive or negative. In most cases it takes a day to get the answer.

Testresults are available by logging in to www.helsenorge.no
NB: you will be notified when the testresults are available at Helsenorge.

If you can not access Helsenorge, contact your general practitioner who will give you your test results. Persons without norwegian identificationnumber will be contacted regarding their testresults.
